Taylor Swift college course

Taylor Alison Swift (born December 13, 1989) is an American singer-songwriter.

The University of Texas is offering a class on the songs of Taylor Swift

The school is offering an undergraduate course -- "The Taylor Swift Songbook" -- this fall as part of its liberal arts honors program.

Students will study Swift's songs alongside the writings of Western literature greats.

Taylor Swift was born in West Reading, Pennsylvania.

The singer boosted her reputation by receiving an honorary doctor of fine arts from NYU earlier this year.

Five of her songs, including “Shake It Off” (2014), “Blank Space” (2014), and “Look What You Made Me Do” (2017), topped the Billboard Hot 100.
